&EXPERIENCED SCIENCE – Special adventures await you at the Agoná Science Experience Center

Science and nature are present in our lives in countless ways. Every day we use the technical innovations that physics, chemistry and other sciences have to offer. But do we know how the world around us works? The Agonára Science Experience Center makes scientific knowledge and the everyday wonders of our lives accessible and experiential.

You can find it in the Botanical Garden of the University of Debrecen. The experience promises an exciting adventure and a life-changing experience for all ages. In the Agora, play and fun are combined with learning; Children and adults can get acquainted with special equipment, scientific curiosities, and be part of extraordinary and spectacular experiments. In the laboratories of the three-story modern building, those interested can take a look into the mysteries of physics, chemistry, biomedicine, hydrobiology, botany, environmental science, and robotics; You can study celestial phenomena in the starry sky. In the Interactive Room, you can try out more than thirty scientific games: visitors can shape mountains and valleys with their own hands, solve the mysteries of several illusions, test their reflexes, or find their way through the seemingly endless Túumlkó labyrinth. A special water-filled bubble that demonstrates one possible explanation for the Bermuda Triangle phenomenon and a Foucault pendulum that demonstrates the Earth's rotation reveal their secrets. Test how strong and fast they are; experience how much work it takes to generate electricity; and if you're brave enough, you can even ride a bike two meters high.

Children, students, teachers, pensioners, families and groups can buy discounted tickets to the Agora. The ticket price includes a visit to the Botanical Garden. entrance fee.

The Agora car park is part of the system operating on the University Square campus, but parking is free for Agora visitors - during the visit. The admission voucher received at the entrance must be validated at the cash desk of the experience center when purchasing the admission ticket! By bus, you can stop at the bus parking lot on Móricz Zsigmond Street, next to the sports fields.
